BORACAY TOURIST SEASONS

The weather of the Island has corresponding effects on the tourist as to which seasons they wish to spend their precious time in the paradise.  It depends on what purpose or activities they planned to experience or enjoy what this magnificent white beach can offer.

LOW SEASON
This season start during the onset of Habagat in May when the winds change and blow eastward into the White Beach of the Island and it ends in October.  Due to time to time rain falls and wind blows, few tourists usually came compared during High Season, however, prices on accommodations and other services offered is much lower than usual which makes it affordable to the tourist abroad or even to local tourist of the country.  The good news, there were a lot of activities other than swimming could still be availed like wind surfing, kite surfing, scuba diving, horse riding, island trekking, golfing, shopping in D’Mall or Talipapa and many other activities to enjoy.

HIGH SEASON
During High Season when Amihan starts in October and it ends in May, the winds come from the other side of the island making the White Beach well protected. The wind blows out to sea, leaving the beach pristinely blue and clean, and generally calm which makes the water nice to swim with. Since winter in the northern hemisphere of Globe starts during this season, so tourists come in numbers in search of sun, heat, beach and party.
